I’ve just found out about some really surprising news! Barney shares 3rd place in ‘FCI I – DOGS (MIX)’ cathegory in leaderboard counting all dogs who attended any coursing race in 2014! For this year we had only one goal – to win Czech Championship in coursing with either Lillie or Barney. Lillie have won it in September, so Barney’s great acomplishment is just a cherry on top.

Lillie’s training in pen. We are currently trying to develop better obedience and stopping, because those are Lillie’s obvious weaknesses. Hopefully we will get better in the spring.

Our BISS JBIS MultiJCh. MultiCh. GrandCh. KlCh. Gemmells Marion Ravenwood “Lillie” ended up on a great 5th place out of 78 female Aussies in TOP TEN KCHBO competition.

A week ago, Lillie underwent endurance trials VZ/AD with Martin. They had to run together for 20 kilometres (13 miles) and then pass obedience test. They have made it to the finish line without any struggle in 2:18 (the limit was 3 hours). Following obedience was a breeze so they have successfully passed the test! Only 3 out of 24 participants were running, the majority was biking.

We’ve made it! Today, we had to do 5 important herding tests (in total) with all of our dogs. An unknown environment seemed to be the least issue for Barney, although Lillie and Jamie weren’t really put to shame also. They’ve all made us very happy – they passed with flying colors!

As usual, Barney went to both tests with our best herding teacher Eva Stemberova, who’s been herding with him from the very start. And what are we planning for spring 2015? To upgrade HWTs to Excellent and to start training for trials!

By the way, thanks to successful HWT test, Lillie fulfilled all conditions to officially become KCHBO Club Champion!!!

We went for Clinical Eye Test (DOV) and goniscopy with amazing results!

We have just started to plan our first litter. So far we know for sure Lillie will be bred with another US dog. Keep following us – we will reveal the father of the litter in upcoming weeks!

During this year, our Barney and Lillie competed in numerous coursing races which also happened to be qualifications to Czech Coursing Championship. This event we were really looking forward to took place last Sunday.

Both Barney and Lillie finished in their “FCI 1 Mix” group with amazing score:
Barney 2nd place, 351 points (his personal best)
Lillie 1st place, 353 points! That means she is now official Czech Coursing Champion 2014 and she also became the best dog of a whole FCI 1 group (she even beat almost unbeatable Bearded Collies!)

It seems that hard work really pays off!
